Hosted by Tina Bailey in honor of her mother, Ernestine “Queen” Corbin, whose legendary weekend spades games brought people together for years, this event is more than a tournament… it’s a vibe.

♠️ All teams begin on Queen’s Road.
♠️ Teams losing in Round 1 move to Redemption Road.
♠️ Teams losing after Round 1 on Queen’s Road are eliminated.
♠️ Teams losing on Redemption Road are eliminated.
♠️ No blind nil bids.
♠️ Card ranking is: Joker, Joker, Ace, Deuce.
♠️ Reneging results in a 3-book penalty.
♠️ No overbooks/bag accumulation.
♠️ Spades may not be led until the suit has been broken (cut).
♠️ No cross-dealing.
♠️ No coaching from spectators.
♠️ Players may not openly coach or direct their partner’s gameplay during active hands.
♠️ Official score sheets will be provided by tournament staff.
♠️ All games operate on a 30-minute time limit unless otherwise announced.
♠️ When time expires, teams will finish the current hand in play. Final score after that hand determines the winner.
♠️ Redemption Championship is a timed 30-minute game.
♠️ Queen’s Championship game is played to 350 points.
♠️ Tournament officials have final say on all gameplay disputes and scoring decisions.
♠️ Unsportsmanlike conduct or disruptive behavior may result in disqualification.
